What  is Christian Counseling?

I consider Christian Counseling to be counsel consistent with Jesus' teachings and leadership.

At your request, we can include scriptures and prayer as a part of therapy for your encouragement and healing.

I will work with you to promote self-understanding and solve problems within the values that are important to you.

"I come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10

"...whenever our hearts condemn us. God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything." I John 3:20

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future....You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11, 13

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18

I am committed to providing confidential, professional, and respectful care to my clients.

We all struggle with common human challenges, common wounds, and common needs.

The focus of therapy is determined by your goals and your family needs.

Should you have questions about Christianity, I will offer support and refer you to a faith group of your choosing.

The First and Greatest: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." Matthew 22:37

And the second is like it: "Love your neighbor as yourself."

Sometimes in therapy it is necessary to work on learning to love and accept yourself.
